Drinks Reception Wednesday 10th April 2019

On the evening of Wednesday 10th of April, you are warmly invited to an evening drinks reception with other delegates, speakers, exhibitors and industry representatives.

Guided Tour – Thursday 11th April 2019

Coventry City Centre 18:00-20:45

 

Our Guided Tour of Coventry will take place after the Conference Programme ends on Thursday, heading to the City Centre with return transport to the University. The transport back to the University is at your discretion (taxi 15-20 minutes, approx £12-15).

Venues include Coventry Cathedral and Ruins, local landmarks in the area and St Mary’s Guildhall. The Tour will end with a Drinks Reception in the magnificent medieval interiors of St Mary’s Guildhall. A perfect opportunity to delve into Coventry’s glorious past. ​

Gala Dinner – Friday 12th April 2019
Warwick Castle 
19:00-23:30

 

Pre-dinner drinks will be hosted prior to the Gala Dinner in the Castle State Rooms, giving you the opportunity to explore where the highest members of society enjoyed dances, drinking and dining.

The Great Hall will host the Gala Dinner, enjoy networking and a three course dinner amongst the spectacular and interesting artefacts from centuries ago.

Return coach transport will be provided to Warwick Castle from the University, leaving at 19:00 and returning at 23:30. Collection of guests will commence at 22:30.

With our historic surroundings, there are many things to see and do whilst you are attending the Congress.

You can visit the nearby city of Coventry, rich in culture and tourist attractions. Birmingham, exciting and ever-changing. Or the nearby towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace to William Shakespeare. Warwick, home to one of the finest castles in the Country or Kenilworth to see the castle ruins or interesting buildings.
