The conference will be held in The Oculus Building.
The University of Warwick is located approximately 4 miles from Coventry City Centre,
thus being the nearest main-line Train Station to the University. Coventry Rail Station
is easily reached by London (Euston) and Birmingham, which run regular and frequent
services directly to Coventry.
From Coventry, there are frequent local Bus Services to the University. More information
on Bus Travel to the University can be found here.
The University of Warwick is accessible from all major airports in the UK. Birmingham Airport (BHX) is the closest at approximately a 20-30 minute car journey away. A Taxi from the Airport would cost around £30. Alternatively, you can take a direct train from Birmingham International to Coventry.
London Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports are all connected to Coventry by National Express coach services. Alternatively, you can take the train to Coventry, with a change in central London.

There is a wide variety of accommodation both on the campus and close to the area. A proportion of rooms have been reserved for the Congress on Campus, located a 5 minute walk away from the Oculus Building and to the heart of all the activity. Accommodation on campus are student style single ensuite rooms located in Jack Martin/Arthur Vick. Facilities within the room include towels and toiletries, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and access to a kitchen. A two night package on 11th and 12th April in Student Style accommodation is £118.00 per person per room and includes Breakfast.
A full English or Continental Breakfast is included within your stay, this is available from 7:00am – 9:00am in Rootes Restaurant, Rootes Building.
There is hotel style accommodation available on the Campus, subject to availability. A two night package in Hotel Style Accommodation is £220.00 per person per room and includes Breakfast within the Hotel.
There is a wide variety of accommodation close to the area of the University of Warwick Campus, which you can search and book for yourself or your colleagues attending the ECDP 2019. Please note that this accommodation is located outside of the University and may require additional transport links such as hire car, public transport or taxi

Local things to see and do
With our historic surroundings, there are many things to see and do whilst you are attending the Congress.
You can visit the nearby city of Coventry, rich in culture and tourist attractions. Birmingham, exciting and ever-changing. Or the nearby towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace to William Shakespeare. Warwick, home to one of the finest castles in the Country or Kenilworth to see the castle ruins or interesting buildings.

We will aim to update this information if the situation becomes clearer, but if you are considering visiting ECDP then the key advice is that, while there may be some disruption in a no-deal scenario, European citizens should be able to travel to the UK and back as usual. Please ensure you use your passport as your travel document.
